The Community Council is made up of local residents and is attended by the four area Aberdeenshire Councillors. Its meetings are open to the public and are held at various venues throughout the area. Details of the next meeting and copies of the minutes from previous meetings are available on the Community Council 'Agenda/Mins' page of this website.

The Community Council is non-sectarian and non-party political. It is there to reflect the opinion of the community. It should be recognised that Aberdeenshire Council deals with the business of Planning, Licensing, Roads, Environmental Health etc. and whilst the Community Council can put forward an opinion on any topic the main decision making powers lie with the full Council.
