Trump Development

World Class Golf Course

One of the most exciting new developments in Scotland is the construction of a new world class golf course by the Trump Organisation in the north-east corner of Belhelvie Parish. The golf course is the first part of a major development that will also include a hotel, holiday villa accommodation and around 500 houses.

We have 3 new sets of pictures, showing the ongoing development of the new Golf Course. The first set of 6 pictures, from 27 March, shows the Course construction still taking place. By 1 May the irrigation system was in place and we have a set of 11 pictures that show the system in action, together with other developments. The third set of 13 pictures from 29 May shows some of the newly turfed tees and fairways.

Opposition

While the development is widely supported, it is not without controversy, as part of the proposed development has been designed on land not owned by the Trump Organisation.

This website will inform as far as possible on both the on-going development and the campaign against progress. We are in an ideal position to inform our local site visitors and those from further afield on what is happening and we will display pictures of the latest developments (see below).

The construction of the first golf course is now underway. Below you will find our first pictures of the course construction.

Series 1 - Sand Works and Views from the South

These first pictures show works underway by S.O.L Golf Limited (from Cork, Ireland) who are moving large quantities of sand from the south end of the course to construct fairways further north. The views northward show the extent of the land under development. The third picture shows the tee position of hole 5 looking towards where the green will be constructed.
