We meet on the third Monday of the month. We are aim to hold our meetings, in person with access online where possible.

Please note - online access will only be available when we have resources to provide this. See individual meeting agendas for details of how the meetings will be organised.

What to expect in our meetings

The Community Council meetings are held in public and we welcome visitors to our meetings. However, please remember that there is usually a full agenda to get through in a limited period of time, so discussion of individual topics will be managed by the meeting Chair.

We begin each meeting by noting everyone present at the meeting for our minutes, Community Councillors, visitors, Aberdeenshire Councils, Police etc. If you are joining online, please let us know, when asked, if you have anyone else attending the meeting with you so our records are accurate.

Enquires and agenda items

If you have an issue that you would like the BCC to help with, please email us at belhelviecommunitycouncil@hotmail.com with the details.

If you would like the Community Council to discuss an issue at our monthly meeting please email us the details 10 days before the meeting date.

This allows us to review the issue and add it to the agenda if it's within our area of responsibility.

We will endeavour to respond to your enquiry and let you know if it has been added to the agenda. If our agenda that month is full we may move the issue to the next meeting.

Urgent issues can be added to a meeting at the discretion of the Community Council meeting Chair.
